For 120 years, our family-run furniture store has been a proud part of Barrow-in-Furness, a town with a rich maritime heritage and a close-knit community. Nestled between the edge of the Lake District and the Irish Sea, Barrow is a place of hardworking families and breathtaking landscapes, and we’re honored to have been a part of its story through five generations. Alongside our furniture store, 1905 Coffee & Kitchen is another part of what makes us a true destination store. Open every day of the week, 1905 COFFEE & KITCHEN boasts homemade breakfasts, lunches, cakes and refreshments, all in a comfortable and welcoming setting, refurbished in a nod to the Edwardian era in which Stollers was established.

Supporting our local community is at the heart of everything we do. Over the past five years, we’ve raised more than £40,000 for St Mary’s Hospice in Ulverston, an incredible charity that provides vital care and support to people with life-limiting illnesses and their families across South Cumbria. But our support doesn’t stop there. We’re also proud to back a range of other local charities, ensuring that our contributions make a real difference to a variety of causes that matter to our community.

We’re deeply committed to sustainability and are on an exciting mission to become carbon negative. As part of our efforts, we’ve installed over 1,000 solar panels, significantly reducing our reliance on fossil fuels and helping us power our business with clean, renewable energy. We’re also embracing eco-friendly practices across all aspects of our operations, from responsibly sourcing materials to reducing waste. By making these changes, we aim to minimize our environmental impact and contribute to a cleaner, greener future for Barrow-in-Furness and beyond. For us, it’s about more than just selling furniture or serving great food - it’s about helping our community thrive while protecting the planet for generations to come.
